India vs England: The 2nd Test match between India and England started yesterday at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. India won the toss and elected to bat first. Rohit Sharma was the first Indian batsman to start the innings. But consecutive wickets fell at the other end.
Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 161. Then at the end of the first day’s play, the Indian team had accumulated 300 runs for 6 wickets in 88 overs. In this situation, the wickets of the Indian team fell in a row in the 2nd-day match which started today. However, Rishabh Pound, who played in action, scored a fifty.

Rohit Sharma and Chapman Gill then batted for India in their second innings. The pair were bowled out for 14 by Chupman Gill. Following this, Pujara teamed up with Rohit Sharma.
India finally added 54 runs for the loss of 1 wicket at the end of the 2nd over of the 2nd Test against England. Rohit Sharma (25) and Pujara (7) are on the field for India. Thus, the Indian team is 249 runs ahead of the England team.
It is expected that the Indian team will be able to set a huge target against England if they put up a good performance in the 3rd-day match tomorrow.
