Redmi 9 Power India launch – Specs and expected price
Xiaomi on Monday announced the launch of a new variant of the Redmi 9 Power smartphone. The latest model comes with upgraded 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. Available from today on Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes, and Mi Studios for Rs 12,999. This new version will soon be available in retail stores as well. The Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power 6GB + 128GB model will be available in four color options: Mighty Black, Flashing Blue, Fairy Red, and Electric Green.
The latest model combines Xiaomi’s current Redmi 9 Power smartphone with 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB models. Both the older models are priced at Rs 10,499 and Rs 11,999 respectively.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 Power in India in December last year. This smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection with 6.53 inch full HD + display. The Redmi 9 Power Adreno 610 GPU runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor. The phone also has a microSD card slot, which supports expandable storage up to 512GB.
In the camera section, the Redmi 9 Power has four sensors on the back. The configuration includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone comes with a 6,000 mAh battery and 18W charging support. At the software front, the Redmi 9 Power features the MIUI 12. In terms of connectivity, the Redmi 9 Power supports dual 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone has an IR blaster.
