Sony launches FX3 Full-Frame camera in India: Sony India has officially launched the FX3 (model ILME-FX3) camera in India. The new FX3 full-frame camera will be available at select Sony Centers and Alpha flagship stores from April 8, 2021 for Rs 3,99,990.
The company claims that the FX3, which is the latest addition to Sony’s cinematic camera line-up, will deliver a better cinematic look and professional functionality. It has a small and lightweight body design.

The Sony FX3 full-frame camera features a 10.2 MP full-frame pack-laminated CMOS Exmor R sensor and BIONZ XR image processing engine. It has ultra-high sensitivity and 15+ stops in the dynamic range, expandable to ISO 409,600 for extremely low light levels.
The camera has an S-Cinetone look profile, which is inspired by the color science of the digital cinema camera VENICE. It is also used in FX9 and FX6 cinema line cameras and can record videos up to 4K 120p.

This camera also has features used in other alpha cameras such as fast hybrid auto focus, touch tracking (real-time tracking), and real-time Eye AF. For seamless 4K / 60p recording, the FX3 is designed with an innovative heat dissipation system. The heatsink system, ventilation system, and quiet cooling fan work to improve cooling during long shoots.
