For the first time and exclusively on our small screens, the Happy Channel brings a new Turkish series this summer. The new production is called “Flames of Destiny” and premieres on July 29 at 8 p.m. The series (whose original title is “Alev Alev”) was broadcast in its country of origin on Show TV between November 2020 and May 2021 and stars actresses Demet Evgar, Dilan Çiçek Deniz and Hazar Ergüçlü .

The story
Throughout the original 28 episodes, viewers will learn the story of three women with different personalities and lifestyles – Cemre (Demet Evgar), Rüya (Dilan Çiçek Deniz) and Çiçek (Hazar Ergüçlü) – whose destinies come together after a tragic event, a fire that occurs at a charity event.
Cemre (Demet Evgar) has an unhappy marriage, being subjected to daily violence and injustice. Her husband claims she is mentally ill just to put sticks in his wheels when the woman wants to file for divorce. Furthermore, he threatens to take her child out of the country. Rüya (Dilan Çiçek Deniz), the daughter of a rich and influential man, has a perfect life only in appearance, and Çiçek (Hazar Ergüçlü) is a young orphan who lives in the same house as Rüya since childhood.
The three women’s lives take a different turn after they attend the event where the fire breaks out, realizing that only together are they strong in the face of hardship. The series is the Turkish adaptation of the French mini-series “Le Bazar de la Charité”, released on Netflix in December 2019 and also available here under the same name – “Flames of Destiny”. Who are the actors of the Turkish series “Flames of Destiny”
You saw the talented Demet Evgar, theater, film and television actress in “Patria mea esti tu!”, and currently she can be watched on Netflix in the series “The Yard” (“Avlu – Court of the prison”). Demet is 41 years old and of Albanian origin.
She impressed Turkish viewers and critics with her role in the romantic comedy “1 Erkek 1 Kadın 2 Çocuk” (2008 – 2015), for which she was awarded at several galas. Demet has a relationship with a businessman, Levent Babataş, and their relatives claim that the two are heading towards marriage.
Hazar Ergüçlü is 29 years old, but has many active roles. He starred in hit series like ‘The Protector’, ‘Society’s Elite’ and ‘Yaman’. Hazar fell in love with theater as a teenager, and her first role was in the 2010 film “Gölgeler ve Suretler”. In 2019, the actress made a cameo appearance in the BBC production “The Mallorca Files”.
Her latest project is the soon-to-be-started TV series “Saklı” by the Turkish online platform BluTV and the adaptation of the American series “Aventura” (2914-2019). Hazar is currently dating screenwriter, director and actor Onur Ünlü (48).
