How to Draw Milk. Milk is a liquid that serves as the first substance many young people and animals will ever ingest! As we age, we also use cow’s milk in many different foods, recipes, and other uses.

Also, check our Unicorn Coloring Pages.

We can supply milk in many different types of bottles and containers, and in the past, it has often been the norm to supply milk in glass bottles.

We’ve all seen those milk bottles before, but that doesn’t make learning to express milk any less complicated.

However, you don’t have to worry because this is the tutorial to follow if you want to know how to do it!

How to Draw Milk

Step 1

While working on this milk-pumping guide, we will depict milk in a glass bottle. In this first step, we’ll keep things nice and simple.

We’ll start with the cap and neck of the bottle, and you can start drawing a thin, flat oval shape. Next, use some curved lines to create the thin edge of the lid.

You can also add fine-line detail on the rim and the lid. Next, draw a few long, slightly curved lines down from the sides of the lid base.

Step 2

Glass bottles often have flat outlines and edges; we’ll start drawing some of those details in this second step of the tutorial.

You can start by siphoning the top of the milk into the bottle itself. You can do this by tightening another flat oval form inside the inlet of the bottle.

Then draw some stripes near this oval body to give the image a more vibrant look.

Next, we’ll draw two curved shapes under the surface of the latte you just drew to Draw Milk.

These will form the top of the flat sections on the sides of the bottle, and we will add more detail in the next few steps.

Step 3

For this third step of our milk drawing tutorial, we’ll add more lines for the side outlines of the bottle.

To do this, extend straight lines from the curved edges near the top of the bottle you drew in a previous step.

Then you can draw more curved lines under the curved lines you drew for the flat rims of the bottle.

These will have smaller lines around them, and you can complete this step by drawing a straight line down from the right one.

Once you’ve replicated these lines as they appear in the reference image, you’re ready for Step 4 to Draw Milk!

Step 4

We’re almost ready to draw the rest of the outline, but first, let’s add more detail to the bottle.

In this step, you’ll add more to the flat edges, and you can start drawing more straight lines from the curved, arc-shaped lines from the previous steps.

These sections are also curved at the bottom to finish the flat edges.

If it seems confusing, it quickly becomes clear as long as you refer to the reference image to Draw Milk!

In the next step, we will finish the final elements and details to Draw Milk.

Step 5

Before we color this picture, we need to add a few final details in this fifth step of our milk pumping guide.

Draw Milk

First, we need to complete the outline of the bottle. Use a curved line for the bottom of the bottle, then add more rounded detail near the inner perimeter of that outline.

Once you’ve finished all the final outlines and details, you can add more elements and ideas to Draw Milk!

You could draw a background to show the surroundings of that bottle, or you could show what you’d like to taste with that delicious latte if it were real.

Step 6

Now you’re ready to finish off this latte drawing with some color! Milk has a fairly distinct creamy beige tone, which we chose for our image.

Milk Drawing

Since this is a glass bottle, we used this beige color for most of the image.

You can use a few different shades of these colors to create a more dynamic image, and you could also try ideas like drawing a logo on the bottle for more color options.

Your Milk Drawing is Finished!
