This time 1,087 players have registered for the auction. Of these, 814 are Indian players and 283 are foreign players. In a way, this can be called a mini-auction. The reason is that most teams retain players who are already on their team.

However, Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore have dropped players from their squad. So these teams are going to field with new players. Of these, 207 players play for their respective national teams. 863 players played first-class games and local games. 27 players are from Allied nations.

Players for the eight teams will be selected in the IPL auction. The auction is conducted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The first IPL auction took place in 2008. Since then the auction has been held annually. A team can have a maximum of 25 players. It can include up to 8 foreign players.

Each player has a base price called the Base Price. The player will be selected for any team that bids the highest price in the auction starting from that base price. Auctions start and heat up when more than one team wants to have a particular player. Whichever team fails to bid the highest bid is awarded to the team that bids the most.

That is, if no one bids on a player, he joins the bidder list. Once all players have been bid on, the names of the players who were not bid on will be reconsidered and they will have a chance to join the team in the second round.

As far as the IPL game is concerned, its owner has to spend Rs. 80 crore. This owner does not have to spend the entire budget on the team. However, 75 percent of the amount i.e. Rs. The new IPL rules say he has to spend up to Rs 60 crore. Assuming an agent or owner can spend Rs 80 crore, CSK will spend Rs. It spent Rs 79.85 crore on the salaries of its players and reserved just Rs 15 lakh.
