IPL Auctions 2021 – RCB buy Glenn Maxwell for Rs 14.25 crore
Maxwell has proved that he is a batsman who has made his opponents tremble not only in the IPL cricket series but also in the Big Boss series in Australia. But former Australian spinner Brad Hawke has said that Maxwell has achieved great things in just two of the nine IPL series in which he has played.
Brad Hawke said: “I do not understand why the Royal Challengers Bangalore team bid for Maxwell for such a large sum. Because he has achieved in just two of the nine IPL series. I have to say that the Bangalore team has definitely taken a risk by giving such a large amount. AB de Villiers is already on the team. He executed the finisher job very well last year.

But this time it looks like De Villiers is planning to field Maxwell in place and field De Villiers earlier and use De Villiers in more overs batting. No matter what great plans the Bangalore team has, he has got the biggest amount compared to Maxwell’s latest form. He always puts his name in the IPL auction and makes teams bid every time. ”
