Ishan Kishan Hits 56 Against England In Second T20I Win
India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bowl first. Suryakumar Yadav and Ishant Kishan, who had been waiting for a long time to get a place in the Indian team, were given a chance.
In this situation, the England team set a target of 165 runs for the Indian team. Ishant Kishan and Rahul made their debuts for India. Rahul was out for no runs and Ishant Kishan threatened in action. Kishan hit a total of 56 runs with 4 sixes and 5 fours in the match.
Ishan Kishan became only the fourth Indian to score a fifty in the inaugural T20I after Rohit Sharma, Robin Uthappa, and Ajinkya Raghane. But Ishaan failed to break Raghane’s record of 61 runs in the inaugural T20I.
Meanwhile, Raghane, who made his T20I debut for India in Manchester in 2011, was unbeaten on 61 off 39 balls. Ishant Kishan, who is currently making his debut against the same England after nearly 10 years, was unbeaten on the fifty. But the Indian team lost in Raghane’s debut match. Ishant Kishan’s debut match was won by the Indian team.
