Kamal Haasan was born in Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu, the son of D. Srinivasan and Rajalakshmi, a criminal lawyer. Of the four children, Kamal, who was born a shopkeeper, spent a lot of time in it from an early age as he was more interested in arts other than studies. Saruhasan, Chandrahasan, and Nalini Raghu were born with him.
Kamal, their father, was so restrained that he intended to educate his sons well. In his opinion, both of Kamal’s elder brothers studied law, following the example of his father.

In 1978, Kamal Haasan married Vani Ganapathi, married her ten years later, and married actress Sarika. They have two daughters, Shruti Hassan and Akshara.
