‘Mara’ is the story of a young woman who goes in search of an artist who revived a story she heard as a child through painting. Paru, also known as Parvati, listens to Adam’s story while riding a bus with his grandmother. Grandma tells the story of a king and a fox in a village. It’s not like that. A Christian nun sitting nearby tells the story of a soldier. It sinks deep into Paru’s mind. Look grows. He never forgot that story.
