Sathya Sai Baba Age, Family, Biography, Controversies, Facts: Satya Narayana Rayu was born on November 23, 1926, in Puttaparthi, Anantapur district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, the eighth child of Bethavengama Rayu and Eesuvaramma.
Satya Narayana was born out of fasting and his parents named him Satya Narayanan. He continued his primary education at a school in Puttaparthi and at an early age became involved in devotional drama, music, dance, and story writing.

When he reads, he will immediately call his friends and give it to them. Thus there will always be friends around him. One day in front of those who were in his house, he showed the stone in hand. Seeing this, his father rebuked him. But he said that I was “Sai Baba” and “I am the rebirth of Siradisai Baba!”
His speech and miracles began to spread among the people. Devotees began to come in search of him as he performed miracles, such as the miraculous bringing of “vibudhi, rings, watches, lingam” by many. Also, the devotees were amazed to see the offerings, rings, watches, lingam etc.
In the late 1940s, he went to various places and gave alms to the devotees who sought him. Devotees who were deeply involved in his spirituality considered him an ‘incarnation of God’ and built temples for him in 1944.
Then in 1954, he started a small hospital there and provided free medical care to the people there. In addition, many charities have been started in his name and he has been serving in various projects such as free education and medicine, schools, higher education institutions, and the provision of drinking water.

Final Words
Shri Satya Sai Baba was admitted to Satya Sai Hospital on March 28, 2011, due to ill health and shortness of breath. Doctors were then called in from the United States and treated. However, in the early hours of April 24, 2011, a natural disaster struck.
