The Samsung Galaxy M12 is expected to be priced at Rs 12,000 in India. Tipster Mukul Sharma announced the price on Twitter. Leaks indicate that the device will be launched in the Indian market soon. However, no date was mentioned in the tweet.

It should also be noted that the new pricing is lower than previously suggested by previous leaks. The Samsung Galaxy M12 was previously priced at Rs. It was rumored to come in the 15,000 price segment. The company seems to have set very low prices to compete with the likes of Xiaomi, RealMe and Oppo.

It is further speculated that Samsung will make minor changes to the hardware. The Galaxy M12 in India may have different display and processor specifications compared to the international model.

The device is said to be introduced with the same 6.5-inch TFT display with HD + resolution. However, instead of the 60 Hz update rate, the device is said to offer a 90 Hz screen update rate. The Galaxy M12 has four cameras on the back, including a 48 MP main lens, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a pair of 2 MP sensors.
